This holiday, support local! There are so many incredible spots to grab the perfect gift or decadent chocolates to share with your Valentine. One of our favorites is Dolce and Bean! This neighborhood sweets shop is nestled on Mount Vernon Avenue and has been referred to as a “dessert haven” by more than one regular customer. They also rave about the kindness and expertise of the owners, they’re people that the town genuinely loves and supports. You know it’s got to be a good spot to frequent with reviews like that!
This Valentine’s Day pop in for a few treats whether it’s for a gift or at-home dessert for your evening in. You can call ahead or order online for curbside pickup, or go in and browse their European-inspired confections and make your own box of goodies. The case is filled with tasty treats like truffles from bourbon to dark chocolate tiramisu, a variety of macarons in all colors of the rainbow, personal-sized cakes perfect for sharing (the chocolate bourbon bomb or the carrot cake are top favorites), and so much more. Regardless of what you order or decide on, you’re in for a very sweet Valentine’s Day!
