The Park is 46.75 acres of gorgeous woodlands, hiking/biking trails, and athletic fields – plenty of space to enjoy autumn recreation without being worried about staying six feet away from other guests.
Take advantage of the playgrounds, picnic tables, and sitting areas, or the bike trail that connects the Arlington and DC paths. Many of the fields are reserved in advance for league play, but there are plenty of options so that you can get a pick-up game together or run the kids to tire them out. Plus, because Four Mile Run Park is right on the waterway, you can fish and bird watch right at the water’s edge.
