Now Open in Old Town: Mount Purrnon Cat Café and Wine Bar

Alexandria has its very own cat café, and pardon the pun, but it’s purrfect. Mount Purrnon Cat Café and Wine Bar is now open for you to have a bite to eat and drink, all while you mix and mingle with some seriously adorable feline friends. The purpose of Mount Purrnon is to assist the dozens of local homeless cats to find their forever family, but even if you’re not able to take a cat on, your patronage to the café still helps. At Mount Purrnon, cats learn to become more social, all from snuggling up with a friendly stranger.
You can use the café like a casual meet-up spot with friends, or bring a good book for a little solo afternoon. Grab a fresh salad, bowl, or sandwich, along with some much-needed animal companionship. Find Mount Purrnon in the heart of Old Town.
