Hook & Reel Brings Cajun Cuisine to Bailey’s Crossroads
September 22nd, 2020
Have you ever wondered what seafood boil you’d be based on your choice of cartoon character and emoji? Maybe not. Nevertheless, you can find out on the Hook & Reel website. And, with a new location at Bailey’s Crossroads, you can try it in real life, too.
Nearly every customer sharing their experience on Yelp insists they’ll be returning soon to try something more from the Hook & Reel menu.“If you like a good seafood boil, this is a great place,” writes one reviewer. Some favorites so far include the catfish basket, shrimp po boy, and, of course, their seafood boils.
This Hook & Reel specialty comes with corn and potatoes and offers either a made-to-order option or selections from existing favorites. “The Perfect Storm” includes a cluster of snow crab, a pound of head-off shrimp, and a half pound of black mussels, for example. Their DIY options include your choice of “catch” (including calamari, lobster, crab, crawfish, scallops, and more), sauce, spice, and extras, like noodles, rice, or sausage.
However you choose to try Hook & Reel’s seafood boil or other options—and whether or not you let their “What boil are you?” quiz make your dinner decision for you—seafood fans are sure to find something to love at this new addition.
