The only thing better than apple cider on a sunny fall day is the drink’s boozy cousin. Celebrate cider’s more ‘spirited’ side at the Alexandria Cider Festival, Saturday, November 23. Ten local Virginia cideries are bringing their best libations to sip and savor in your complimentary souvenir glass. Get as many samples as you like with your $45 advance ticket ($55 at the door), and take advantage of on-site food trucks, fall entertainment, and more. The event is an outdoor, afternoon affair from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., so keep your fingers crossed for good weather to enjoy the crisp autumn air early in the day. Then, you’re right at the end of Old Town to continue your evening with all the historic city has to offer.
The Alexandria Cider Festival takes place at the beautiful Lloyd House (the Office of Historic Alexandria). Get your tickets now before space runs out for this festive fall event.
