For any seafood lovers out there, The Wharf is the perfect setting for an authentic dining experience for those seeking a taste of Alexandria’s historical roots. As they incorporate fresh seafood from the Chesapeake Bay heavily into their menu.
Stop by earlier in the day and explore their brunch and sandwich menu. Try a delicious sandwich like a New England lobster roll or the self-named Wharf Burger. Or maybe you’re in the mood for a classic brunch dish such as an Eggs benedict or, for the seafood lover, a Crab cakes benedict.
Stopping by for dinner instead? Check out the extensive dinner menu. Start with a house-made cocktail and a half-dozen local, raw oysters on the half-shell. You can also order your local oysters broiled with cheesy breadcrumbs on top. Just make sure you save enough room for the main course! The chef churns out dishes like the “famous” all-lump broiled crab cakes, Chesapeake flounder stuffed with crab imperial, and many more incredible eats!
The Wharf is open Sundays-Thursdays from 12 noon until 9 pm. Fridays and Saturdays from 12 noon until 10 pm. And Saturday & Sunday brunch from 11 am until 3 pm.
