That’s why one of the best ways to celebrate Halloween is to book a spot on Alexandria’s Original Ghost & Graveyard Tour with Alexandria Colonial Tours! This local tour is led by a guide in full Colonial garb, toting a lantern to illuminate the historic streets of Alexandria. Talk about an authentic feel! The guide will share with you the haunted history of our fair city including legends, unsolved mysteries, stories of murder, revenge, and forbidden love, and so much more. The tour lasts about an hour and only goes six blocks because there is so much history in such a small area. This makes it an accessible tour for nearly everyone of all ages, although 9 and up is recommended due to some of the content!
