Happening Now Near Array at West Alex: Christmas at Mount Vernon

Christmas at Mount Vernon is always a special time filled with festive tours and events! Although the Christmas Illuminations light show is already sold out, you can still grab tickets to the Winter Glow event. It promises all the holiday cheer of the illuminated mansion, just minus the fireworks.
Winter Glow will be taking place the weekends of December 11th and December 26th, giving you a total of six evenings to choose from. Carolers will provide a festive soundtrack as you explore George Washington’s estate home, which will be all lit up for the season with strings of twinkling lights and softly glowing holiday patterns. There will even be an 18th-century winter encampment set up to show you what the snowy season was like back then. Social-distancing and face coverings are both required, and there will be hand sanitizer available throughout Mount Vernon. The tickets are timed and cost $45 for non-members.
